Pilot Station Pizza has been proudly owned and operated by Bec Laws since 2019; it’s located in the front of the IGA supermarket complex on Gregory Street which is right in the heart of the beautiful seaside village of South West Rocks on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
South West Rocks is rich in history, and our shop’s name represents the significance of the State Heritage-listed Pilot Station (located just up the road). This facility once helped ships navigate safely past headlands and coastal shoals during the early days of settlement. The Laws family has deep roots in the area, having worked as professional fishermen here for many years. This part of South West Rocks history holds a special place in our hearts.
We’re committed to providing not only great food but also great experiences for our customers & our staff. We employ around 15 fantastic local staff, many of whom are teenagers getting their first taste of work. We’re proud to offer them the chance to learn valuable skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment, and we provide flexibility around school and sport commitments to help them balance work and life. We love seeing them grow and develop with us.
At Pilot Station Pizza, we believe food brings people together, whether it’s at home with family or with friends sharing a pizza while watching the footy. Whatever you’re craving, our menu has something for everyone, and we’re dedicated to making each meal something special.
We’re also proud to be actively involved in our local community. Each year, we support local teams and groups, including South West Rocks Cricket, Netball, Football, Lawn Bowls, Pickleball, and Physical Culture among other things. We offer considerable financial sponsorships and Player of the Match vouchers. We love giving back and helping foster a strong, connected community spirit. We’re proud of the community we live & work in.
